The X-Rail can be utilised on both faces of the formwork and once poured creates an exposed concrete walls. Uses might include external retaining walls. Alternatively it can be combined with the standard R-Rail, thus creating one side exposed concrete, one side insulated. Useful for example in the design and creation of lift shafts. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
