R-WALL PSi Values

Building regulations has introduced the requirement to provide PSi values in addition to U-Values in order to pass current regulations. PSi values measure linear and geometric thermal resistance paths within a building envelope, in other words areas which provide a path of least resistance for heat to escape known as a Thermal/Cold Bridge. Thermal bridges can account for significant heat loss from a property and create unhealthy living environments. This heat loss is measured in Watts per metre Kelvin (W/mK).

R-WALL has zero cold bridging as the system provides a full and complete thermal layer around all elements. The insulation also performs to a very high standard creating exceptionally good PSi values required to satisfying building regulation. Below is a table of basic R-WALL PSi values. Associated certificates can be provided on request to technical@r-wall.co.uk and we are able to provide bespoke PSi calculations if required.
